The tall blonde barely had time to the close the bathroom door behind her before her younger sister rushed over, embracing her in a tight hug, silently sobbing into her shirt.
Liz blinked in surprise, "What the Patty are you ok?"
Patty looked up at her sister with crocodile tears and a snotty nose running down her face, "Can you help me please? I-I was playing with m-my giraffe and I threw it a-and now it's stuck in the closet!"
"Stuck in the closet?"
Patty stood up, finally letting go and pointed in the direction of the evil closet that devoured her precious stuffed animal, "Y-yeah, the towel closet on the top shelf! I can't reach! Pleeeeaaassseee?"
"Ok ok relax, I'll get it for you" Liz gently pat the short blonde on the head and gave her a warm smile.
Patty's eyes shined with joy, "Yay! You're the bestest big sister ever!"
"Yeah I know!" Liz laughed and gently flung her hair behind her shoulders as she walked off to be the hero.

KidLiz: TreatmentYellow light cut through his eyes. A lantern? Kid lifted his head and narrowed his eyes, trying to understand what happened. He couldn't remember how long he was lying in this moist, cold basement without any movement. Maybe a day, maybe two, or maybe even just a few hours in this darkness time passed not the way it was supposed to, but the way he comprehended it. Death the Kid has gotten a "holiday" in the very uncomfortable way. And that was understated.
"Kid?" - The voice was familiar to the boy, but his head refused to realize this piece of information. Good that he wasn't a computer. A machine with broken parts would stop working a long time ago, but he still tried to think about something, not spending attention to the pain in his ribs and to the fact that his broken hands were tied behind his back, making it impossible to move.
"Kid!" - the noisy female voice tore at the silence again. Somebody shook him violently, grabbing him at his shoulders. "Hey
The Nature of LoveFull Title: The Nature of Fear, Bravery, and Love

Summary: When Kid is injured on a mission, Liz realizes some things about the emotions that confuse us most. Kid/Liz.
It is the nature of fear and bravery and love to confuse us. The fear of what lies ahead, the bravery to confront it, and the love that is our driving force - these emotions guide our decisions and often conflict, leading to indecision and hesitancy within us. We can never be sure of where our choices will lead us; too much of any one of these emotions can cause us to misstep and fall.
Elizabeth Thompson has many fears. She doesn't consider herself a brave person, and she's pretty terrified right now, faced with yet another monster and a situation that her meister's ridiculous obsession has gotten them into. But this isn't like any other time. Kid is seriously hurt, and Liz finds herself wondering, panicked, if his kind can truly die.
An acute fear co
Because Of You- A KidxLiz one-shotFirst Soul Eater one-shot. Just finished the anime the other day and wanted to do a quick fanfic of my favorite couple. Oh, and I apologize for any OOC-ness. I doubt Liz would really be as dense in the series as I made her in this fic but I still hope you guys like it anyways.
I found a KidxLiz AMV on YT that had Taylor Swift's song "You belong with me" in it and that kind of inspired me to write this :/

"Damn...!" Kid cursed as he ran as fast as he could through an abandoned town as fast as his legs could take him. Behind Kid ran an evil, gigantic monster that was in the process of soon becoming a kishin. Kid and the Thompson sisters had been assigned a mission to go to the abandoned town of Lunar to destroy a rumored monster that had been killing innocent travelers passing by.
Now they were running for their lives; trying to figure out a way to stop the giant that now tread behind them at top speed.
"Kid, lets try So
KidxLiz: Sleeping Symmetry"Eeeep!" Patty jumped up in a fright as the storm outside grew stronger, wind rushing past her window, rain drumming relentlessly against the walls and every so often, the crash of thunder and blinding lightning was more than enough to keep the youngest Thompson sister wide awake.
The storm had been going on for hours, though her eye lids were heavy and body crying out for sleep, Patty just couldn't find comfort in her own bed. Thus, she quickly threw off the blankets and swiftly made her way across the room where her older sister lay sleeping like the dead.
" L-liz?" she called out weakly, but received no answer, "Sis? C'mon wak-" Without warning another blinding flash followed by the roar of thunder reached a little too close to home as Patty could clearly see the jagged hand of God crashing to earth just outside her window.
Patty's eyes grew wide in fear and let her legs take her to anywhere but there, "EEEEEEP!" she cried out and took off out of the room and down the hall. To
SoMa One-Shot ~ I Must Confess ~"Hi Soul." Maka walks into the apartment after a quick visit to the store. She waves to Soul with a somewhat emotionless expression.
Soul looks up and waves back to her. "Hey Maka."
Maka looks down somewhat sadly. "What's up?...."
"Nothing much.. What's with your sad expression?" He asks looking concerned.
"Oh... I'm just bored..." She continues to look down, gripping onto the bag of groceries she bought.
"You look upset. You know, you can talk to me if something is wrong."
"It's fine Soul.... Nothing important..." She mumbles and walks into the kitchen to put the groceries away.
Soul sighs and leans back on the sofa.
Maka finishes putting away the groceries and sits down away from Soul. She takes out a romance book and starts to read it.
Soul looks at her, still worried about how she is acting.
"Please tell me what's wrong." He says looking at her.
Maka looks up from her book and pulls a fake smile. "I'm okay, really.."
Soul shakes his head in denial. "I can tell when something is wro
On Relationships Ch 1: The Start"Liz, that story you sent me was beautifully written, but terribly sad! Do you know how long it's been since I've weeped so openly? DO YOU?" Kid said as he came into the common room of the first floor of the manor house.
Liz thought for a moment. "Well, there was this morning at breakfast when you got upset over seeing your reflection on the counter top," she suggested.
Patty giggled madly. "You cry all the time, Kid!"
"I... I do not!" He began to sob wildly in a bizarre mixture of anger and depression. "Why must the two of you seek to destroy my mental health at all times? What did I ever do to you?"
"Kid, I-I.. didn't mean anything by it," Liz stuttered helplessly, laying a hand lightly on his shoulder.
Patty sobered from her laughter fit. "Didn't mean to make you sad."
Now deciding to play the high-and-mighty route, Kid puffed his chest out and snorted. "You should both put more thought into your behavior, you know! Despite your opinion of my disorder being something hilarious, it's
On Relationships Ch 9: PensivityThe next evening, Death the Kid found himself in his study again. This time, however, the door was firmly locked against interruptions. It was important that he get down to the bottom of what was currently happening. Possibly his father knew, but as usual he wasn't giving up any information, preferring that Kid learn things on his own whenever possible.
Regardless, it meant Kid had to spend quality time with a stack of dusty old books and scrolls.
He turned his attention to the old book open before him, a heavy and boring piece that tried its best to document what little was known about the Elder Gods. It was disappointingly thin, made worse that at least half of it was written in a language unknown to anyone. Kid found himself reading the margin notes of Reapers past trying to make sense out of the mystery of the book. They hadn't seemed to have any more luck than he was having.
Staring at the indecipherable pages, Kid found his thoughts drifting elsewhere. Back to the night before. B
On Relationships Ch 3: Bait and Switch"Yo, Kid," Patty called from her sprawl on the couch. "What's the next mission?"
Liz glanced up from across the room where she was reading a magazine for his response.
"Now that you mention it, Patty, I believe we can continue with our previous mission to hunt the demon Saul. With Digit returned, we should be able to continue using her as bait for the spirit in question." He looked upset at this. "Ugh. Bad choice of words. Well, you know what I mean."
Patty giggled. "But she IS bait. And it works really well. Liz and I used to use the bait-and-switch all the time."
"Mm-hmm," Liz made an agreeable sort of noise from behind her magazine. "There was also the lost-sister routine. That one was great with tourists." Liz's voice was slightly muffled from her magazine.
Patty grinned. "That one was fun! Oh! And the fire-escape shuffle!"
Kid's eyebrows rose curiously though his eyes remained half-lidded. "The fire escape shuffle?" he repeated, already knowing he probably shouldn't have asked.
KLW: Unzip"I hate you so much right now!"
"Sorry! I can't hear you!" Patty laughed manically as she went well on her merry way while Liz continued to scream from the other side of the door.
"Patty! Get back here! I still need help!"
But there was no response; her evil younger sister has abandoned her for the sake of an evil plot that Liz knew all too well.
And it was working. Much to her dismay.
She still hasn't figured that one out yet.
Kid stood in front of the eldest Thompson sister's bedroom door, watching in confusion and wondering as to why she was screaming and why Patty was skipping away laughing to herself.
"What's the matter?" he asked, gently knocking on the door for her attention.
A small sigh of defeat was heard from within.
" my zipper is stuck, I need help "
Kid blinked, "Your zipper? You haven't changed out of your dress?"
" no and Patty is being a little douche right now" she grumbled.

SoulXMaka: Erased, chapter 1"Oi, Maka, slow down a bit. Why're you so excited?" Soul grumbled loudly as the two walked down the school hall. Classes were finished for the day. More extracurricular lessons were posted up on the board, but Soul just wanted to go home. He was tired as hell because he hadn't gotten enough sleep last night.
"Baaaaka! Don't you remember? We've got 96 souls already! We're almost finished getting the number of souls we need to make you a Death Scythe!" she exclaimed half-heartedly. She spoke while staring at the board the whole time, contemplating what mission they should take on. "Here! This one!" She pointed at a sheet of paper.
"Eh? What is it?" Soul snatched the sheet off the board and read it out in his mind. Souls have been mysteriously disappearing in the town of Yokano. Find the threat and eliminate it as quickly as possible. Mission Requirements: Soul Perception. "Yokano isn't too far from Death City..."
"So? We gonna take it?"
"... Hmm." Soul replied, handing the sheet o

Soul sat on his and Maka's couch or more accurately half sat half slumped on the couch slack jawed and
staring off into space with a certain meister muddying his thoughts. He let the fight play back in his

LizxKid Oneshot"I hope you all enjoy your winter vacations!" Professor Stein beamed to his promising DWMA students, "I know I will!" He laughed with a tinge of insanity as he took out his dissecting knife and a cage containing a species of bird unfamiliar to me (but most likely endangered knowing Stein-sama...). Me Patty and the rest of the DWMA students eagerly awaited for that one word that meant weeks of relaxation and sleeping in.
"Dismissed!" Stein shouted with glee already examining his specimen.
"Alright!" Patty and I yelled in scarily perfect unison. I glanced over Patty's shoulder to see how Kid was celebrating, and honestly wasn't surprised that he was yelling at Black Star for his hair being unsymettrical again.Oh no...
"Kid!" I yelled getting his attention, "C'mon Patty and I want to get started on our beauty sleep!"
I saw him mumble something (but didn't even try to make it out the students joyous shouts were deafening) slump his shoulders in defeat and slink over beside Patty and I.
Sick Day - A KidxLiz FicThe morning sun peeked through the closed curtains as Death the Kid rose himself out of bed.
*6:08 Good, I'm on schedule*
Quick to get dressed, the young shinigami prepared himself for his daily ritual: meticulously checking every portion of the mansion to guarantee that everything was in perfect, symmetrical order. This usually took Kid about an hour of his day, leaving the remaining time for Liz and Patty to get ready.
Taking a deep breath, and mentally cursing his OCD, Kid set out for the long task ahead of him.
Happy to see that everything was in its right position, Kid made his way to the kitchen to see if the girls were awake yet. Much to the reaper's surprise, all that could be spotted was Patty sitting at the table, eating a bowl of cereal, watching some cartoons on the television residing on the counter (in the exact center of course). This was a rare occurrence considering Liz is always up and about before Patty, so where was she?
"Patty, where's your sister?"
Miss You -chap. 2, SouMaka-Maka didnt know how long she sat there, letting her eyes cry until they were sore, sobbing until her throat felt dry.
Soul was gone. Vanished without a simple reason as to why. What happened that made him leave so abruptly? What happened that he couldnt trust Maka to keep secret?
So many questions ran through her mind as her blurred eyes stared into the empty room. Shed never imagined this room empty. Seeing it now felt so surreal. She wanted it back to the way it used to be, back to the way that kept her mind from being so confused.
She stood then, shakily leaning against the doorframe as her legs threatened to give out. Without a seconds thought, she walked over to the small table that sat by the main door and grabbed her cell phone. The blinding pink made her squint, and she cursed her Papa for buying her such an obnoxiously colored device.
But this was the only means in which she could get in contact with Soul.
If he picked up.
Her fingers glided over
